Permission comes first.
Guest and media drone flights require special approval from the lodge’s marketing team before any flight.
- Operator qualificationsProvide an advanced Transport Canada drone operator certificate and drone registration.
- A reviewed flight planSubmit your proposed flight area, purpose and schedule for approval.
- Guests come firstFlights must avoid noise and visual disturbance to guests and lodge operations.
- Coordinate local air trafficApproved operators must notify Ascent Helicopters in Fernie, preferably 24 hours ahead and at least two hours before flying.
Confirm all arrangements with the marketing team. A submitted request is not permission to fly.
